SEND

I can provide sessions especially developed for SEND schools and classrooms. These include immersive sensory spaces, alongside accessible sculpture, print and drawing workshops.

Previous projects;

Under the Sea
Seven Hills School, Sheffield
(July '21 & July '22)
An immersive environment in the classroom, for pupils with PMLD. Around the room were different zones for the pupils to explore and engage with including: a soft space using beanbags and a range of textured fabrics, water play with sea themed figures, a range of sensory objects and sing-alongs to themed music.

Under the Sea
Rodney House School, Manchester
(May-June '17)
I devised a series of morning workshops where the children could create an element, for what became a large display. As the children had various access needs, I provided a range of activities so that there was something accessible for everyone. A project for children aged 4-8 with additional learning needs.

Build a City
Seven Hills School, Sheffield
(July '21 & July '22)
An interactive building session for Phase 1 pupils to create a cityscape, in their classroom. Using a range of accessible, colourful, textured materials, working both individually and collaboratively, pupils made choices in order for their cities to take shape.
