Sculpture & Play

Sculpture & Play is a workshop that encourages material exploration and imagination by your pupils. Using loose parts, recycled and upcycled materials, pupils can create sculptures, to a theme or free-form. This workshop is a great introduction to sculpture and 3D making.

Moor Allerton Primary School, Leeds
(August '23)
An outdoor sculpture building, workshop for all year groups, as part of the schools summer fair. Children were playing, building sculpture, creating kinetic pieces while exploring the materials possibilities.

 

Introducing Sculpture
Southey Green Primary School, Sheffield
(July '21)

Reception FS2
An outdoor sculpture building, workshop for entire year group. Children were introduced to the word 'Sculpture' and recreated famous artworks using a range of materials. The children worked in groups of five to create their sculptures and also documented their creations through drawings.

 

Outdoor Sculpture
An open-ended sculpture making session, where the children can use their imaginations to create a variety of outcomes, from sea creatures to space rockets, elephants to aliens.
Suitable and adaptable for all key stage

Recycled Sculpture
An open-ended sculpture making session, where the children can use their imaginations to create a variety of outcomes, on a smaller scale using the contents of the recylcing bin - milk cartons, yoghurt pots, cardboard tubes and bottle tops.
Suitable and adaptable for all key stages.
