Over 60's art group

In collaboration with OWLS we set up and began running an art group for Over 60's in the local community. For 10 weeks, I set up various stimulus in the space for members to explore creatively in a variety of mediums - ink, charcoal, chalk, oil pastel, watercolour, acrylic, gouache and collage. Stimulus' evolved from traditional plants and bottles to more abstract compositions. Over the weeks I built their confidence to trust their abilities and enjoy the marks they made. I also broke down barriers of how they viewed things being 'right or wrong' and take pride in their creative outcomes.
