Session Facilitator

'Picturing GTD (Gestational Trophoblastic Disease)' was a creative research day run by Dr Emily Ross, a medical sociologist and Wellcome Trust Research Fellow. I facilitated the creative section of the day, supporting the women who had experienced this rare condition. This was a creative opportunity to reinterpret and take ownership of the medical imagery and objects linked to the diagnosis. While also being a space for them to express and reflect on their experiences, emotions, frustrations and questions.

An online gallery is available of the work created.

Funded by The Wellcome Trust.
