Session Designer and Deliverer

Representing The Tetley, me and Toby Kilby-Pollard ran 2 creative workshops as part of Hamara's Easter Holiday Playscheme. The provision was provided free for children in the area who were in receipt of free school meals.In the morning we ran a Mindful Sound workshop, going out into the local park to listen for sounds, followed by making our own sounds. We then created a visual soundscape both on the floor in the park and on a roll of paper in the classroom.In the afternoon we did a Junk Sculpture workshop - designing and making a giant marble run. Using recycled and repurposed pipes, boxes and fabric, children worked in groups before combining their creations into one huge piece.
